Rou-chan’s Glorious Exploration Record
Today, my father brought me to the royal capital for the first time.
I’m seven years old, and I have finally set foot in the royal capital!! Behold my greatness!!
Oh, but apparently, I’ve actually been here a few times before, even though I don’t remember it.
After all, my father’s father—my grandfather and the former head of the Melissa family—lives in the royal capital.
My grandfather… the illustrious Grandpa Hana, doesn’t like long journeys or the countryside, so he never leaves the capital. That means our family has to come visit him instead.
I don’t remember any of it, but we must have traveled back and forth enough to maintain our family ties.
This is totally one of those moments where someone says, “I changed your diapers when you were little, and now look at you!”
When I stepped down from the carriage, a large two-story mansion stood before me.
As expected of my father’s father, it was noticeably bigger than any of the houses I saw from the carriage window on the way here—excluding the royal castle, of course.
It even has a vast garden.
