Just when we finally thought we had made it out of the forest, an enormous lake stretched out before us, swallowing the river we had been following until now.
“But this definitely means that humans… or at least something with civilization exists here, right?”
Near the river mouth where the water flowed into the lake, a clearly man-made bridge had been constructed.
