A huge water tank is set up indoors, and six mages operate wooden boats, using magic to float them and race against each other.
It’s held in bars, and you can bet money on it, which makes it really exciting.
Since people are using magic to control the boats, cheating is pretty much expected.
Some of the participants are genuinely trying to win, so figuring out who’s cheating and who’s not is part of the fun.
It also helps you develop a keen eye for people. The simplicity of judging people and betting on them has a deep, intriguing appeal.
I used to think the student city had few places to have fun, but it turns out to be even crazier than the Eltor region.
The Eltor region has casinos, but I haven’t been there yet. Since I have a lot of money, I might get hooked on that too.
In my previous life, I never gambled because I was disciplined, but this is really fun.
These games were originally designed to train magic control, but I doubt the developers expected them to be used like this.
Students’ creativity knows no bounds.
