The invasion operation of the Kingdom of Catriais is approaching.
Although weakened, it’s not easy to destroy an entire nation. It’s not as simple as just gathering troops. The more soldiers there are, the more provisions are needed, and transporting those provisions is a challenge. I have an interdimensional warehouse, so I don’t struggle with transport, but it would be unrealistic for me to carry provisions for all the troops.

Since Count Balzar is the chief staff officer, he will not be going to the frontlines, which seems to be a source of great dissatisfaction for him. He has said from the beginning that as the top of the military, it’s impossible for him to go to the frontlines. Also, those around Count Balzar seem to be skilled in both military and civilian affairs. Even if the leader is a brute, the excellent people surrounding him are able to follow through and ensure proper communication and command, which allows them to report accurately to Prince Erenfreed.
The reason why younger princes and princesses are appointed to key positions this time is because of the succession battle between the first prince, the seventh prince, and the fourth princess.

Other factions and neutral nobles will be assigned to the first legion but can choose to fight in other legions if they wish.
Additionally, 50,000 soldiers who were formerly from the Kingdom of Catriais will join.
The king has made it clear that the results of this invasion will determine the next king. Each faction will likely fight desperately.
People often think I belong to Reinhardt’s faction, but I’m neutral. Moreover, the king seems to be wary of my military power and has assigned me to lead the rear support unit this time.
This wariness isn’t because I might turn against the kingdom, but because there’s a concern I might defeat the Kingdom of Catriais with my own forces. If that were to happen, it would interfere with the succession struggle among the princes and princesses. I have no intention of meddling in that, and as long as I can let the three grand archbishops of the Kingdom of Catriais escape, that will be enough.
Today, I’ve come to the Shuireland territory to subordinate a flying monster.
Shuireland is the domain of Viscount Juliadon, and it contains the Aslanda mountain range. In that range, there’s a Wyvern’s nest.
A large monster like a Wyvern should be able to transport a decent amount of supplies.
The base of operations is the Deuro Temple in Shuireland, and as I was about to greet Viscount Juliadon, he came to meet me first.
Viscount Juliadon is a vibrant man in his thirties and, as the lord of a region where Wyverns live, he is a warrior noble. It seems he has a friendship with my father, and he went on and on talking about him, as if he were a machine gun.
