After much adventure, the heroes finally reached the castle of Witch Iris. As they entered the castle, what they saw was… the memories of Witch Iris.
As they advanced through the castle, the images of Witch Iris’s memories were reproduced. Young Iris lived happily surrounded by her kind father and mother. However, one day, her mother left, and her father began to inflict violence upon Iris.
At first, the violence was minor and left no lasting injuries, but as Iris grew, the violence became increasingly severe.
Eventually, her father sold Iris to a slave trader. The memories from that point were nothing short of horrific. Wounded and devalued by her father, Iris had little worth as a product. It was for this reason that she fell into the hands of a cruel buyer…
In that moment, Iris transformed her hatred into power and awakened as a witch.
The awakening of Witch Iris was due to her harsh family environment. Nevertheless, the hero did not empathize with her and raised his sword against her.
“What you are doing is far worse than what you endured,” he struck at Iris.
“What do you understand about the privileged life you live!” Iris resisted, but she was no match for the hero’s strength, and the great evil that was Witch Iris was vanquished.
Thus, peace returned to the world. The heroes were venerated and became legends passed down through history. However, Iris was depicted in the history books as an absolute evil. The truth of the abuses she suffered in her childhood was buried in darkness.
