Title: Let’s Watch Over the Hatchlings of the Tōto Explorer Training Academy pt. 479
- Anonymous Supporter
This thread is for watching over the students of the Tōto Explorer Training Academy, which is the pinnacle of domestic explorer training located in Tokyo.
For students from other academies, please go to their respective threads.
Any posts inciting trouble for the academy will be reported, so please refrain.
Next thread creation is up to the person at >>980.

There were reports of the Nightmare Lord, the King of Nightmares, and Baalor appearing in the academy’s dungeon. Sweat sweat.
37. Anonymous Supporter
Lies.
38. Anonymous Supporter
It’s not a lie. It’s even posted on the academy’s official website.
39. Anonymous Explorer
This feels like déjà vu…
40. Anonymous Explorer
It’s the same situation as when the Archdemon appeared, right?
41. Anonymous Explorer
Wait, was it okay?
42. Anonymous Explorer
Didn’t the government just say the dungeon was safe after the Archdemon appeared?
43. Anonymous Explorer
That’s such a half-hearted job.
44. Anonymous Explorer
Sad, but it seems about right.
45. Anonymous Explorer
The magic power in the dungeon changes depending on the monsters that pop up.
If only weak monsters or D or C rank monsters appear as bosses, there’s no significant change.
But, in a variable dungeon, powerful monsters can suddenly appear, and that can change the concentration of magic power in the dungeon.
46. Anonymous Explorer
Just get to the point.
47. Anonymous Explorer
In other words, measuring magic power when no troublesome monsters have spawned is meaningless.
The government’s investigation probably didn’t account for the Nightmare Lord spawning yet.
48. Anonymous Explorer
So it was completely meaningless!
49. Anonymous Explorer
Why did the government claim there were no issues and no need to change the dungeon’s rank?
50. Anonymous Explorer
Typical bureaucratic nonsense.
51. Anonymous Explorer
Wait, so what happened to the academy? Did it get wiped out?
52. Anonymous Explorer
It seems like it wasn’t that bad.
53. Anonymous Explorer
Really? Why?
54. Anonymous Explorer
I heard the teachers and student council went in after an emergency signal was sent.
55. Anonymous Explorer
Teachers and elite students going against an S-rank monster… Looks cool, but are they going to be okay?
56. Anonymous Explorer
Apparently, when the emergency signal was sent, only Baalor was confirmed to have appeared.
57. Anonymous Explorer
And when they got there, they found the Nightmare Lord? Is that some kind of bullying?
58. Anonymous Explorer
I don’t know…
59. Anonymous Explorer
We’ll just have to wait for updates.
183. Anonymous Explorer
The students who defeated the Archdemon apparently defeated both the Nightmare Lord and Baalor as well.
184. Anonymous Explorer
What!? Really!?
185. Anonymous Explorer
Are you serious? What’s going on with those kids?
186. Anonymous Explorer
It’s that girl who’s super cute and that normal guy, right?
187. Anonymous Explorer
Source?
188. Anonymous Explorer
Because of the academy’s system, every major event gets recorded in a video, and some people managed to catch it before the academy erased it.
189. Anonymous Explorer
Wait, isn’t that illegal?
190. Anonymous Explorer
If you do that too much, the academy might start getting serious, so be careful.
191. Anonymous Supporter
That’s crazy…
192. Anonymous Supporter
The academy also announced it. During the dungeon exploration practice, some students encountered danger, but two excellent students were able to defeat the threats.
193. Anonymous Supporter
Where was the homeroom teacher? Do your job!?
194. Anonymous Supporter
There’s a clip where the teacher used a skill to protect all the other students in the class.
195. Anonymous Supporter
Really? That’s impressive.
196. Anonymous Supporter
Unlike the government, the teachers are actually competent. Also, 193, apologize.
197. Anonymous Supporter
Sorry, everyone.
198. Anonymous Supporter
It’s good that you’re being honest. I heard the academy protested to the government. The investigation was flawed. The student council president, Shiraishi, was also angry on her streaming channel.
199. Anonymous Supporter
Of course, they would be upset. It’s thanks to those amazing students that they were able to survive, but that doesn’t mean they should let it slide.
200. Anonymous Explorer
Shiraishi is so cute… (dreamily)
201. Anonymous Supporter
Yeah, but if those students hadn’t been there, we might’ve seen dozens of casualties.
202. Anonymous Explorer
The academy just released an official statement.
203. Anonymous Explorer
Can someone post it? I can’t open the window at work.
204. Anonymous Explorer
Just the relevant part, please.
Title: The Appearance of S-Rank Monster Nightmare Lord and A-Rank Monster Baalor
First, we would like to commend the outstanding students and teachers who faced this threat and minimized the damage. Our academy will continue to strive to train excellent explorers.
Below is the timeline of events.
While this is an exceptionally rare case, we recognize that such situations are possible, and we will continue to explore measures to address them.
Timeline:
- The Nightmare Lord (X), an S-rank monster, appeared.
- Though there is only circumstantial evidence, X summoned Baalor (Y), an A-rank monster.
- Y ascended to the 4th floor.
- At the time, Class 1-A was conducting dungeon exploration practice around the boss room on the 5th floor. Two parties (A, B) encountered Y.
- After activating an emergency alert, the students fought but were defeated, and one was captured.
- A different party (J) heard the alert and headed to the 4th floor, defeating Y and rescuing the captured student.
- Party A and B, along with some students, remained on the 4th floor, while the rest of the students and teachers descended to the 5th floor. They expected Baalor to be the boss.
- Upon descending, they found no monsters, but a dense magical aura filled the area. They immediately decided to retreat, but X used this magic to block the stairs to the 4th floor.
- Exposed to X’s magical attacks, teacher K used their unique skill to protect all the students.
- Party J challenged X, defeated it, and everyone was safely freed.
205. Anonymous Explorer
Wait…
206. Anonymous Explorer
Can someone summarize this?
207. Anonymous Explorer
Maaaama~!
208. Anonymous Explorer
Are you all idiots?! It’s already summarized in bullet points!
209. Anonymous Explorer
The students from Party J defeated both Y (Baalor) and X (Nightmare Lord).
210. Anonymous Explorer
Looks like someone actually did clip the video. I can’t believe it.
211. Anonymous Explorer
Oh, there’s a note with that, so I’ll include it. It seems important.
212. Anonymous Explorer
Gulp…
213. Anonymous Explorer
By the way, this incident aside, clips from the academy’s recorded videos are frequently seen online. As this is a violation of student privacy, we strongly request that it not be done. Legal action will be considered if this continues.
214. Anonymous Explorer
Clip team! Stop! Stop it!!!
215. Anonymous Explorer
Ah… I knew it, but still, that makes sense.
216. Anonymous Explorer
I heard the academy suggested to the government to make the video servers private.
217. Anonymous Explorer
Well, I didn’t really understand why they were even making it public.
218. Anonymous Explorer
It was probably just a publicity stunt to avoid accusations of wasting taxpayer money.
219. Anonymous Explorer
At this point, no one’s questioning that anymore.
220. Anonymous Explorer
Still, those two students must be incredible.
221. Anonymous Explorer
I’m glad the one who was captured was saved.
222. Anonymous Explorer
I can’t help but wonder who rescued who, and if the captured student was a boy or a girl…
223. Anonymous Explorer
If that guy had rescued a different girl, he’d probably be a hero by now, right? Haha.
224. Anonymous Explorer
So jealous!
225. Anonymous Explorer
You should all go back to being high schoolers and take on Archdemons, Baalors, or the Nightmare Lord.
226. Anonymous Explorer
Sorry, I got carried away. That boy is amazing…
227. Anonymous Explorer
You gave up quickly, lol.
